The inspiration behind speaking photos…
The idea for the App began with a volunteer art auction for a kindergarten class in Marin County, California. Four dads collaborated on the project. The original piece measured 40 inches square and combined gallery quality framing, amazing photography, a flexible touch panel and sound to create a one-of-a-kind interactive art piece. It was the most successful auction item of the year!
When parents heard their child speak about their best friend, a pet or something meaningful in their lives, the emotion was overwhelming. When Apple introduced iOS, we knew we wanted to re-create that experience on phones and tablets.
MD Design was formed to explore our passion for creating meaningful, mobile experiences that can be created and shared by anyone.
